The Volkswagen Atlas 2024 and Atlas Cross Sport 2024 are the latest incarnations of the popular Volkswagen Atlas family. Unveiled earlier in February at the Chicago Auto Show, both receive a major refresh for the 2024 model year. The models' interiors have also received a significant upgrade, with more luxurious materials and an increased range of comfort features. The existing DNA and unique personality from previous Atlas models have been retained, but both the three-row 2024 Atlas and sporty 2024 Atlas Cross Sport reach a new level of sophistication and convenience. It Will Offer a More Luxurious Interior

The new models feature state-of-the-art interiors made with premium materials like soft, luxurious leatherette. The upper trim versions feature diamond-patterned quilted leather seats and an ambient lighting feature with 30 different color options. A stylish, backlit dashboard decoration with the name "Atlas" further enhances the vehicle's refined atmosphere.

It Adds More Comfort Features for a More Luxurious Experience

With its new Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport 2024 models, drivers enjoy increased comfort. The vehicle features a heated steering wheel, paddle shifters and standard ventilated front seats for a more relaxing driving experience. Modern technology is also included, such as Climatronic automatic climate control and voice control adjustments.

It Includes More Connectivity and Safety Technology

A 12-inch floating infotainment screen is centrally located, and each trim level features the fully configurable 10.25-inch Volkswagen Digital Cockpit Pro. Wireless App-Connect, wireless charging and six USB-C ports (with eight optional) offering 45 watts of fast charging are included. In addition, the advanced IQ.DRIVE semi-autonomous driver assistance system will maintain the lane, warn the driver of surprise obstacles and can intervene to prevent collisions in a wide range of scenarios. Moreover, both 2024 Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport models feature heads-up display. Predictive adaptive cruise control also adds an extra touch of convenience and peace of mind on the road.

It Replaces Its VR6 Engine With a New, More Efficient Turbo

The Volkswagen Atlas 2024 lineup features a powerful and fuel-efficient 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged engine capable of producing up to 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. This newly designed engine offers superior performance to the previous 3.6-liter V6, with a significant improvement in fuel efficiency. An eight-speed automatic transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel drive system are standard on all models, and towing capacity remains at 5,000 pounds. Finally, the increased torque over a wider rpm range provides smoother acceleration for an even more comfortable ride.

It Is Even More Elegant

The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas and VW Atlas Cross Sport have been redesigned to provide an even more elegant and distinct visual signature. The four-bar chrome grille surrounded by LED headlights is highlighted by daytime running lights (DRLs) that extend to the illuminated VW logo, while the taillights feature a light bar with the VW logo. For an even bolder look, the Cross Sport adds gloss black detailing and an "X" pattern on its lower fascia, and its more aggressive rear diffuser gives it a sporty look. Wheels range from 18 inches to 20 inches and are available in machined alloy or black. An R-Line trim also offers 21-inch wheels and a gloss black grille, as well as R-Line badging.
